Founder of Atlas Gold
Reza has decades of entrepreneurial and executive leadership experience in the private sector. He was the founder, chairman of the board and served as the CEO of Mota Motors. He also founded IronPlanet, which was the leading online inspection-based marketplace focused on the $100 billion used capital goods market. IronPlanet was acquired by Ritchie Bros. in June 2017 for $758 million. Reza is currently building his third company, Atlas Gold, which seeks to create monetary stability and food & water security through agricultural land grants from gold mining companies. He is backed by White & Case International Law Firm, and the largest gold mining companies in the world.
Reza is a board member of the Atlantic Council, an organization that promotes constructive leadership and engagement in international affairs. He sat on the board of Rand Corporation’s African First Ladies Initiative. After the Haitian earthquake in 2010, he founded the Haiti Investment Team to facilitate foreign investment in the country. He is a champion and mentor of women in executive positions and leads a diverse and international team of professionals.
